Feeling blue about the state of St. Catharines? Impatient with the progress of downtown revitalization? Tired of petty political squabbling?
Set aside some time next Wednesday and head to Market Square.
That's because Brock University is taking its school of fine and performing arts dog-and- pony show to downtown St. Catharines.
It'll be good for whatever ails you.
The final schematic designs for the soon-to-be relocated Marilyn I. Walker school were unveiled on campus Wednesday and they show a delightfully restored Canada Hair Cloth building, a modern remake of a plain-Jane factory structure and a soaring new edifice.
Seriously, folks, if the renderings for the school, in combination with previously released schematics for the city's performing arts centre, don't get you excited about the downtown's future, you likely don't have a pulse.
