Two-year anniversary of two-way traffic

Rob Herzog revels in being able to turn left or right on a whim when he drives downtown.

Wednesday will mark the two-year anniversary of two-way traffic's return to the downtown core, and Herzog, owner of the men's wear store of the same name, is one of many singing its praises. He said it was one of the reasons he brought Herzog's back downtown after a 15-month stint on Vansickle Rd.

"I drive downtown all the time now and I love it," he said. "You can turn anywhere you want."

The controversial decision has left Herzog pleased with the results now that his store is back at its original home of 92 years, He said he's surprised at how little congestion there is.

"I think it's actually improved just the idea of coming downtown. I guess the access is better.
